Saturday's Surmise

I had a fun relaxing night last night and stumbled in very early this morning. I was able to sleep in a little and then got up to go baby shower shopping, waxing appt and then tanning. Well I didnt make the tanning appt but did stop for booze and Raising Canes per hubby's frantic phone call because they kids were driving him insane.

When did Babies R Us get so INSANELY CRAZY?? I loved going there when I was pregnant and when the kids were babies. I would just look around and be so relax. OMG I hated it today. I couldnt find anything, they didnt have anything on the registry, nobody would help me, some woman got huffy with me when she tried to run me over with her cart. WTH!!!!

I really need to relax after the BRU shopping experience. I was excited to try this waxing place, I got a flyer for a free wax. The lady came out to get me and the FIRST thing she did was call me SHAWANNA, OMG if you know me you know how much I hate that. Sometimes I grit my teeth and smile but I had to correct her I couldnt stop myself.

The lady was super nice and I guess I mentioned my infertility miracles somewhere in the conversations and she was so happy because her and her husband who have been trying for 9 years was about to consider it. So we chatted and chatted. Then she ruined it. She said AFTER SHE HAS ALREADY STARTED...... "Oh no I didnt realize you were pregnant!" WHAT no Im not pregnant and then instead of saying Im sorry and shutting up she said "Oh wow are you sure, your really pooching out and I would swear you were pregnant" I wanted to cry right there, I have been trying so hard to lose this weight since Im sad to say this isnt the first time someone has said that to me but I really didnt think I still looked that way. The 9lbs that decided to jump on board these last few weeks was already messing with my mind, but THIS!! THIS IS GOING TO DRIVE ME INSANE!!!

I am trying to get it out of my head but maybe getting all this baby shower stuff ready isnt helping :o(

I just don't get why people just can't keep there mouthes shut. I mean I would never think of asking someone that unless I was toatlly sure. I mean people if you don't know them then

KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!!!!!!!!!

Now Im going to drown my sorrows....

Toothless Thursday Treasures

This morning I went in to wake up Corey, I love seeing his expression when he first looks under his pillow. First thing he's says this morning is "see mom the tooth fairy likes me cavities and all". LOL I'm starting to think I might just say that line too much.

Im happy the tooth fairy gave him the $5, he was excited and said he only need 4 more dollars to buy his nerf sword. Here is the letter he wrote:

After all the excited with Corey I went in to wake up Ally. My little girl never stops, she's always moving and whenever she is moving she's looking for trouble. These time right here are what I treasure the most, I love it when she is awake but sleeping like an angel she still looks like my baby.

Heartwarming School Spirit

Every few weeks they play this story about some of the kids at Coreys school on the news.
This is the sweetest story and makes me cry everytime. Its funny when you see so many kids on the playground with shaved heads but what a wonderful thing for them to do. One of the kids in Coreys class has a brother who is in this little girl's class and he shaved his head so his little brother did too and Corey came and asked if he could shave his head. We buzzed it pretty short but didnt shave it all the way.

Case of the Monday's

The office was closed tomorrow so I should be happy. Well I would have been if my hubby stuck to the plan. But nooooooooooooooooooo he had to play dumb like we haven't ever said anything. I have TWO days off a year where my work is closed and the kids daycares are open. MLK's birthday and presidents day, which is TODAY!!!! I reminded him last night that I didn't have work today so please don't wake me up. He wakes me up right before he is suppose to leave and says "am I suppose to take the kids to daycare or are you" WTH!!! Why would I wake up on one of my TWO days off a year to drive them all the way to school just to come back when we could drop them off of his way? hmmmmmmmmm!!! So the cranky a$$ I was said forget it, since neither child was up, dressed or fed I decided to just keep them today and prayed them slept in. Nope once Kevin shut the front door they were up.

Now, don't get me wrong I love having them here but I look forward to having these two mornings to sleep in and get some stuff done around the house, they rarely stay at school longer than after lunch. So even though today was an extra day to my weekend, I got no rest and every mess I cleaned up there were 3 new ones to tackle. Not to mention the FIGHTS, OMG from now on every hot wheels we buy will be purple since EVERYONE wants the PURPLE hot wheel. One thing was Ally did take a kinda nap (door was shut when Im pretty sure no sleeping happened) and I got the laundry done. Two weeks of clean clothes were piling up and Kevin and I were seeing which one would break and fold them. Grrrr its always ME!!!

Family Tradition - Heart Pizza

For the last few years it's been tradition in the Rushmann house to have a pizza dinner on Valentine's Day. When I found a place that made take n bake HEART pizza's on Valentines Day only it made our dinner much more special. As long as Papa Murphy's is in business our Valentine's dinner will forever be, take n bake heart shaped pizza, take n bake chocolate chip cookies and rootbeer. Who needs a fancy spancy dinner when you can have this!!

Love Bites

I wish I was dealing with a love bite but noooooooooo some little spider or bug bit me and now I will spend my Valentines as a walkin at the clinic. Im am one cranky little chic. Not only does the bite on my earlobe look really gross, its hurts like hell and continues to swell along with the side of my neck and face AND Im am dealing with the stress that SOMETHING was crawling on me. EEEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!!!

Why cant the day be over yet? Kevin is finally home and I want to lock myself in my bathroom away from my screaming kids and eat something really bad for me, read a trashy book and just be ALONE with my bug bite.
