Jumping

It was hard for us to choose to take down the swingset, but I think we made a good choice. Ally and Corey both have so much energy to burn what better way than to let them JUMP IT OUT!! I have to say this Christmas present has been fun for the WHOLE family, I love to get out and jump with them and so does Kevin.

You have to look and just see how much fun they have.

I Was Totally Wrong!!!

I loved watching Trading Spaces and always thought people who picked to redo their bedrooms were weird. I mean its a bedroom you sleep there and clean and you know what but thats it, why does it have to be decorated. Kevin has been wanting to get new bedroom furniture and I would shoot him down by saying there is other important rooms we have to get stuff for that people actually SEE. The bed we had was the one I bought when I was 18 after my dad kicked me out since I had no bed, my dresser was given to me by Kevin's mom's boyfriend at the time (I was prob 19-20) and it was from his first wedding, the nightstand and other dresser was from Kevin and he got it when he was 12. I wont doubt that it was old but it worked.

With this last bonus he put his foot down and we went to RC Willey. I just nodded and let him pick what he wanted I spent most of the time in the kids section. I going to admit this right now I WAS WRONG!!! With all the new stuff out bedroom feels so peaceful now, I feel like I can relax in it and it has helped motivate me to dust off the treadmill LOL

Totally crazy!!! and now I see why all those people wanted to redo their bedrooms.

Take a lookie at our new furniture, the only thing over 1 month old is the pictures.

Since Kevin picked it all out, lol you know he had to throw this in

Treadmill all dusted off and down

Santa brought these

Wanna see how cheesey we are? Oldest thing in the room LOL

MIA but for good reasons

I know I have been a bad bad blogger (shame on me) but its been crazy busy here in the R household. My mom was here for 2 1/2 weeks, Corey started kindergarten, Kevin and I went to Cancun and what a travel experience that was, then we get back my mom goes home and Corey starts a new daycare. Thinking things were getting back on some kind of schedule he gets LOST at school and everyone freaks out, ALOT of homework starts spilling in, along with 1000's of school papers and then we go to his 6 month ADHD check and find out they are VERY VERY worried and gave him a failure to thrive diagnois. Crazyness, I swear it never stops. Well I take that back, last Saturday went to a GIRLIE Slumber Party is you get my jist, got shitfaced BEYOND shitfaced, bought $140 of God knows what, made a HUGE mess in my friends house along with a few husbands and had to be carried home in the back of a pick up. Damn that was fun, felt like dying the next day but the crazyness stopped for a FEW HOURS :o)

I will have to post pics of our Cancun trip and maybe one or two of the girl party but that all has past and I will post today what we did today.

Feeling guilty about having to take Corey and get blood drawn we all went to a state park today for some fishing and fun. I got the wrong bait and heard about it all day, the kids could really care less all then wanted to do was cast out and reel back in. Damn thats all I ever want to do too. Not sure what part of fishing on a lake struck me as something I could bring Ally the two year old terror too. We lost her pole a few times in the lake and her a few too if mom wasnt so quick. The child has no fear. Having enough of the lake drama we pack up and headed towards the ducks. These ducks were HUGE and the kids loved them. Kevin did not, seems he was attacked by ducks when he was younger and is scarred for life. He takes the bread and chucks it past the ducks and tells the kids to RUN LIKE HELL. The funniest shit I have ever seen. The kids thought dad was playing a game, we will burst their bubbles some other time.

We hope in the car and say we were going to the mall to get Ally's ears re-pierced and pick out school picture clothes. We figured an ambush at LabCorp was the best deal. He had no clue where we were and lucky for us the place was empty, Im so glad I choose to go on a Sunday. My poor baby was so so scared and cried and cried. It broke my heart. He was brave though and sat on my lap crying but didnt move. Then they needed a urine sample. I couldnt get him to stop crying, ohhh my poor baby. Then I made a joke that he better not pee on me while I hold the cup and he started giggling. Thank goodness my kids find fart/pee/poop humor as funny as I do. After that we went to the mall. Ally just SAT there while the repiereced her ears. CRAZY!! We got the kids the cutest picture outfits, matching of course, so Im thinking a family pic is in the future.

It was such a long long day but it was nice. Here are the park pics....

He's Scared

My poor baby boy! He's so so scared to start school on Monday. I know alot of kids get this way when they start school but Corey is special, the issues with ADHD and his borderline Autism new situations, surronding, schedules, teachers, friends is more scary and overwhelming then any of us can understand. I am just doing what I can to make him feel the smallest bit comfortable for Monday but if Meet The Teachers Night is any indication for Monday its going to be a stressfull and emotional first month of school.
I know I'm not suppose to feel this way but it broke my heart to see all the other kids excited and seeing the classroom and saying hello and shaking the teachers hand. I was dragging him into the school and classroom and then had to pull him from under the table when the teacher came around. When I was talking to his teacher her attitude towards Corey's behavior kinda rubbed me the wrong way, but Im going to give her the benefit of teh doubt and chalk it up to being overwhelmed by Meet The Teacher Night. PS - If you haven't had this experience before just wait there is no way to prepare for the MADHOUSE you will step into. CRAZY I TELL YA.

Here are the few pictures we got, note I was not taking the picture my mom did and she really has no idea how to work HER camera.

Talking it out or at least trying to

Corey thinking about sitting at his desk, staring at his name tag
Mom trying to get one smile picture but it pretty much one a onesided deal
